After the presentation of the study of the “Path of the Girona river” Pensioners Club in Beniarbeig, some mayors and
councilors together with the provincial Environment Javier Sendra Mengual continued working on the project a center designed for the reception of abandoned animals. By now, the municipalities that are part Pedreguer, the Poblets, Ondara, Orba, Beniarbeig and Gata de Gorgos. It is in these last where, according to the draft submitted by municipalities, the school was located with a capacity of approximately 100 dogs and 25 cats. The project is budgeted with € 200,000 and aims to alleviate a problem that affects all municipalities.
